SAI'S HISTORY
SAI'S TOTAL FIGHT RECORD, (56F, 42W, 3D, 9L, 2N/C)
As you can imagine after over 25 years of training I could write a book on my experiences, so what I have tried to do is condense it into pivotal points in my life and the main and most inspirational people I have had the privilege of training under, and the champions I have trained and sparred with in order of years.
THE EARLY YEARS:
BOXING, 1980-83 at Merlin and St Kitts in Derby, then later with Pat Brogan in Stoke on Trent.
KUNG-FU/KICKBOXING, 1982-84 with Gary Stringer, achieved black belt at 15yrs.
THE MUAY THAI YEARS, 1984-88, MASTER TODDY, MASTERS WOODY AND KRIN, MASTER SKEN. (gyms in Newton St, Portland Rd, Rainy city, Universe gym in Manchester)
1988-96, I trained privately twice a week with William Hilditch, Master Sken's 1st ever student. (Gym the original Studio 2000 in Bridge St, Deans Gate Manchester)
I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THIS WAS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL PERSON I HAVE TRAINED UNDER AND WHY MY GYM IS CALLED STUDIO 2000.(now you all know where the name came from).
THAILAND, 1985, during this year I spent 6 months of it in Thailand.
The camps I trained in are in order; Sor Ploenjjit. Sor Voropin / Jitti gym, Galaxy gym, Chitlada gym, Sor Thanikul, Sitryodthong-payakaroon.

Sai hopes to be able to continue spreading the knowledge of Muay Thai Boxing, not only as a sport, but also as a valuable method of self-defence and a great way to keep fit.
Steven Clarke.
Was born in April 1990 and began training in Muay Thai in April 2001 at the age of 11. He is currently a student pharmacy technician but he is also training to be in the fire service. Steve began training for a number of reasons such as the chance to learn something new and exciting whilst also getting a good workout and increased fitness. Steve took his first grading shortly after he began training and went on to complete all gradings, including his instructorship grading on December 16th 2006. For over 3 years Steve has been helping out in teaching the children's classes and recently, along with his brother, took more responsibility in teaching these classes.
Steve is also one of the gyms fighters, having fought a number of times now. Steve plans to continue his training, teaching and fighting in the future, and hope to one day spend some time out in Thailand, to train and hopefully fight in the country of Muay Thai's origin.
Sean Clarke.
Was born in November 1987 and is am a Welder/Fabricator by trade building bodies for trucks for a living.
Sean started training in Muay Thai in April 2001. Sean started Muay Thai because it offered him many opportunities to grow and develop new and different skills such as fitness, confidence and self defence. Sean completed his first grading shortly after he began training and went on to complete all 10 gradings within 4 years. Sean passed his instructorship grading on 16th December 2006 and has been helping to teach the kids classes ever since. Recently, along with his brother, he has took more responsibility in teaching these classes.
Sean has also competed in a number of fights, with his first in December 2007, he hopes to continue to fight, train and teach Muay Thai in the future and like his brother Steve plans on visiting Thailand to train and experience Muay Thai and would one day like to teach Muay Thai full-time.
